Boer War

In memory of SYDNEY ARTHUR SLATER of Farsley and Exeter College Oxford who was at this school in 1888-1889 Lieutenant in the 57th Company of the Imperial Yeomanry. He was wounded at Bultfontein and died of enteric fever at Kroonstad South Africa Jan 29 1901.
